A preview of the HHS (health and human services) intranet which is part of the intranet for a county in the USA. The demo highlights a few topics, such as ICT, Policies and Translation services. The recording may be to blame but the contrast on the pages is not very good; they also use lots of small texts.

Pretty sleek animation for Archipel (this name is an acronym, explained at the end); the intranet for the ASNR (French Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Authority). It is a platform for seamless and efficient communication, aimed to transform the way they work. It offers tools to connect, exchange and collaborate, and it is a space that resembles the organization and make it come together. (It sounds better in French). I like the design of the intranet and the typography of the video, but have no clue why the screenshots are so slanted.

This intranet opens when you click Internet Explorer. So...it is not exactly new. It is a decent walkthrough of this intranet for the Dutch Authority for Food. The intranet is based on Pleio, an open-source platform especially created for Dutch government organizations.

The CEO of this American Healthcare organization informs the employees that a new intranet has launched. "It may be scary as it has changed, but we have always changed and adapted". Nice! She talks a bit (too) quickly, so it feels a bit rushed.

A new intranet for this French city and surrounding areas. It is supposed to be a solution to the problem of dispersed information. Simplified navigation, personalized information, subscriptions and notifications, clearer, faster, more intuitive, and available from anywhere on any device. Sadly we do not get any actual screenshots of this miracle, but perhaps they will share a demo in due course.

I would consider this a teaser video, but we already have that for this intranet. It is too condensed and high-level for a demo. Nonetheless, the Loop, for the British Council, has now been introduced and employees can now connect, save time and work together globally. There are How To guides, you are requested to complete your profile and explore apps. The old SharePoint intranet will be phased out. It looks very colourful.

Quite a funny announcement for a new intranet. The old SharePoint is messy (20 homepages? wow!), nobody is inspired by it, so they have started again with The Loop, also available on mobile of course. The actual launch video is here as well! The British Council is an organization that helps with cultural exchange between the UK and other countries worldwide.

An earlier video from this CEO (Vlog #17) featured the unveiling of the name of the intranet, and now this intranet, The Toolbox, is live! There's some screenshots throughout. Connect and Communicate are the key goals. Of course there are social elements, news, projects and stories, and what not.

Not sure if this is an ad or the intranet itself. Interesting and good idea though: having one intranet for your complete country government. (India, in this case) Think of the efficiency of that! I have seen many departmental intranets, and an attempt to have one integrated one (Pleio in the Netherlands) but never an all-encompassing government intranet. Kudos if this works! It has all the usual functionalities, such as document management, meetings, tasks management, calendar management, and integration with various systems.

This new intranet (on SharePoint) will gradually replace an old SharePoint site, created hastily during the pandemic. They now have planned it properly, and this will be the one-stop-shop for all staff and faculty of this community college in Washington, USA. It has News, HR and other forms, and document management. They will also move some processes to MS Teams. I like the explanations of why and how they are doing it. The voice has little excitement, I wonder if it is machine-spoken?

Teaser (vertical) for a new intranet for a town in the Netherlands. There will be profiles and people will be able to exchange recipes and buy and sell superfluous stuff. It also has a new name...Whad'sUp. (I think). That D is there for a reason as this town is situated near the Waddenzee.

Teaser for the new intrant (based on SharePoint) for the Department of Health in Alaska. It is still in development. I like the colour-coding of links, blue for content, white for new interactive features. They use a lot of Forms. I am not too fond of having just a narrow band of intranet and a lot of white spaces at the edges, so I would have chosen a different zoom or screen dimensions for this teaser.

Interesting teaser for this Brazilian intranet. It is still a wireframe, but very cartoonish, pencil-written and a rather informal typeface (Papyrus?) It has all features you expect: profiles, projects, events, news, etc. There are also some Microsoft365 icons, but I do not know if the intranet is on SharePoint.

Lounge music and a fast show of content on the intranet for this German education institute in technical jobs, such as car mechanics. This benefits small businesses in the local economy and the students who have a less fortunate background. Of course this is also available on the "handy" (cell phone). There's car- and room booking, calendar functionality, quality management information, wiki. There's robots as well!

Hey, this is new: A virtual assistant for IT support. This Lena works for Elan Notaries in the Netherlands, and is welcome to answer questions about general ICT and specific enterprise systems. She lists for which cases you can ask her and who to call in emergencies, because Lena answers in max. 5 business days, which can be quite long.

A short explanation of the main things to do on this intranet for a chain of notaries in the Netherlands. This will mainly be working on client files, requesting holidays and such. I expect there is more, but I have not found other videos yet. The intranet itself looks clean and organized, and looks like their website.

I also found a video for their AI tool, where you can send all the files for a project to the right email address, and it will generate the requested deed. This will save time, ease workload and avoid mistakes. Clever! https://vimeo.com/1096957467

Teaser for FNAC'in, the intranet for FNAC, a French chainstore selling books, electronics, household stuff, sports goods and much more. It is a little mysterious, but the 29th of November we will know more.

I posed the teaser for this intranet earlier, please search for "e-lien". This is a decent demo for the intranet of a region in France. The pages look nice and clean, you can personalize parts of it, it is social and created with needs of the user in mind. It has all the usual functionality. Also the word "agile" turns up, I have not heard that for a long time. Distracting soundtrack.

This intranet for a Spanish manufacturer of health systems and diagnoses has been revamped: slicker homepage, a simplified menu, a trendier Photos of the Month section, more responsive on mobile, more on brand. I hope the content is good, too! 😁

This is a bit in the vein of that funny Velux promotion video. Vital is the name of this Microsoft365-based intranet for Orsted, a Danish energy supplier. Special attention for My Worklife Menu, which helps you with career, mental wellbeing etc. There's also emergency contact info, the waffle menu leading to various Microsoft365 apps, your profile, networking and "insights", which is something like templates and reports. Connect, Communicate, Collaborate! We have heard it before. :-)

Long demo, with a relaxed, though rather slow, voice-over. The demo discusses the top navigation for this intranet for a Callifornian movie company, as well as the homepage and the footer. It has tons of features, such as extensive info on pages and documents. It may be a little too much if you are a first-time user, but it is helpful information. Tool menus are very large. They use SharePoint, but more for workflows and applications than for the intranet interface, if I understand correctly.

Demo for the intranet for the Department of Economic Services in Arizona, USA. I like the "technology services box, where outages can be displayed. The navigation is very much icon-based and although there are texts underneath each, I am not sure if this can be read by e-readers. The News center is not very prominent, which I like.

Yes, there's nice imagery in here (James Bond, Mary Poppins) but the music is too messy and I do not like the condescending "I am this and I do that" tone when you are supposed to use an intranet. But perhaps my French is not good enough to get the exact meaning. In any case, this is a teaser for the intranet e-Lien for the region Île de France.
